Spiritual Food That Sustains Our Life

The big news of today is that this evening, for the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ (or Solemnity of Corpus Christi), Pope Francis celebrated Mass and gave a homily at the Basilica of Saint John Lateran, after which he processed via Merulana, to the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, where he gave a solemn Benediction with the Blessed Sacrament (full text, full video, summary video 1, summary video 2).

The Door Of Mercy Wide Open

Today at St. Peter’s Square, Pope Francis held a General Audience and spoke on the topic prayer to maintain a stronger connection to God (full text, full video, summary video). Also during the audience, he asked people to pray for various causes.
