To Promote In The World Ways To Respect Life

Today overlooking St. Peter’s Square, Pope Francis delivered an Angelus Address regarding the untiring love of God (full text, full video, summary video). Also in address, he remembered the Missionaries of Charity killed last Friday in the Yemeni city of Aden.

Also today, in response to Pope Francis meeting yesterday with his beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk, major Archbishop of Kyiv-Halych, of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and his letter/statement regarding their full communion with the Roman church, Pope Francis sent message to his beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk (full text).

This morning at the Redemptoris Mater Chapel, Pope Francis attended the third Lenten sermon of the year by preacher to the Papal household Fr. Raniero Cantalamessa (full text).

Additionally, following some criticism by the leader of the Ukrainian Catholic Church regarding the joint declaration Patriarch Kirill of Moscow signed with Pope Francis, Patriarch Kirill has issued a statement in response, expounding that the declaration serves as a “foundation for normalization of the relations.” In rather unrelated, but quite interestingly news, Patriarch Kirill visited and preached a really really good sermon at a church in Antarctica! By his sermon, God knows Patriarch Kirill and Patriarch Kirill knows God.
